Priced per completed intake.
You only pay when Citizenly hands your team a finished, structured intake. Drafts, abandoned sessions, and the questions your clients ask along the way are all included.
How pricing works.
One unit, one price. No per-seat fees for your caseworkers, no per-message fees for client questions, no charge for clients who never finish.
Send the link
Every intake starts when a caseworker creates a private link and sends it to the client. Creating links is free and unlimited.
Client works through it
Your client answers in their language, asks questions, pauses, and resumes. Drafts and assistant conversations are included in every plan.
You're billed on handoff
When the structured intake lands in your dashboard, it counts as one completed intake. That's the unit we bill on, once a month.
Plans by organization.
Three shapes. The product underneath is the same in all three — what changes is how we bill, what's included, and how we support you.
Sliding scale
Priced against your funded capacity, not your headcount. No tier is more expensive than the law-firm rate.
- All product features
- Onboarding + caseworker training
- Annual billing, paid in arrears
- Sliding-scale qualification reviewed annually
- Pro-bono partnership available for clinics under 300 cases / year
If a clinic can't afford it, that's a conversation, not a no.
Per completed intake
Transparent per-unit price, billed monthly in arrears. Volume tiers kick in at 50 and 200 completed intakes per month.
- All product features
- Volume tiers at 50 / 200 / 500 per month
- Monthly or annual billing
- Standard support, business-hours response
- 30-day pilot with no commitment
Enterprise
For organizations that need a single contract across multiple offices, custom data residency, or a defined SLA.
- Everything in Law firms
- Single sign-on (SAML / OIDC)
- Custom data retention windows
- Dedicated customer success manager
- Uptime + response-time SLA
Included in every plan.

Pricing questions.
What counts as a completed intake?
An intake is complete when the client finishes the last required question and the structured summary is delivered to your dashboard. Intakes the client abandons partway through are not billed.
Do incomplete intakes cost anything?
No. We don't charge for drafts, abandoned sessions, or the time the client spends asking the assistant questions. If the intake doesn't reach your dashboard, it doesn't count.
How does the sliding scale work for legal aid?
We look at your funded annual capacity and your case mix, and price against that — not headcount, not seats. The sliding scale floor is set so that a small clinic pays substantially less than a mid-sized firm running the same volume.
Is there a free trial or pilot?
Yes. Law firms get a 30-day pilot with no commitment and no card required. Legal-aid orgs run a structured pilot with us instead — usually 60 days alongside onboarding.
Do you charge per caseworker seat?
No. Add as many caseworkers and org admins as your team needs. We bill on completed intakes, not on logins.
Do you charge for client messages to the assistant?
No. The client-facing assistant is included in every plan, unlimited per intake. Per-message billing would punish the clients who need the most help.
What happens if a client comes back after the intake is finished?
The client-facing assistant stays available to that client at no additional charge. We don't re-bill an intake when the client opens it again to ask a follow-up question.
What are the contract terms?
Month-to-month or annual. Annual gets a 12% discount and a single invoice. Either can be cancelled with 30 days' notice — we don't lock anyone in.
Which payment methods do you accept?
ACH, wire, and major credit cards. Invoices are issued monthly in arrears with net-30 terms. Annual contracts can be paid up-front.
Where do I get an actual number?
